This video is quite long, but I recently listened to the audio podcast and was quite moved. He could have been describing me. Is this why I relate so well to my students? I don’t know. Maybe. Definitely some food for thought.

A few more thoughts:
This lecture really helped crystallize a few thoughts that I have had with regards to edtech in my classroom. For the most part it seems as if my students are not as “digitally native” as I in many ways, until I pull out an assignment that really allows them to flex their digital muscles. An upcoming post will give a more specific example.
